Skin Prick Testing
Skin Prick Testing (SPT) is a way of testing for allergies on the skin. It is a simple non-invasive test unlike blood tests (allergen-specific IgE) that can be done in children as young as 1 year old. Results are available after 15 minutes providing a quick diagnosis of your allergies.
Nasoendoscopy
Nasoendoscopy is a procedure to examine the internal structures of the nose and throat. It involves a small, flexible camera called an endoscope gently inserted through the nostril. It’s a tool the doctor uses to help diagnose various conditions, including enlarged adenoids, allergic rhinitis or hay fever.
Immunotherapy
Immunotherapy, also known as desensitisation therapy, works by gradually getting your body to tolerate allergens. It can treat allergies like allergic rhinitis (hay fever), allergic conjunctivitis (red itchy eyes) asthma and atopic dermatitis (eczema) caused by grass pollen, dust mites, weed pollens, tree pollens or pets.
